Have you experienced sudden strange cold feeling inside the body? It was extreme and I felt like I was going to die. Is it due to using this med? Is it normal? Though feeling a little better, I am still feeling such weird cold feeling on the inside even after taking an anti anxiety med. Shall I stop it taking jovia? My next does should be few minutes later/ Please help. Thank you!

Hello agatha, welcome. I have no experience with escitalopram but someone else here may have had the same experience with this med or another. If so, they may post a reply here. I googled this med for side-effects and two of them is shivering and chills. I'm not sure whether it is from a feeling of coldness or not. When in doubt, it's best to call your prescribing Dr. and report your concerns about any side-effects you may be experiencing. If they are of a serious nature and your Dr. is unavailable, please visit your nearest ER.
It's always a good idea to discuss side-effects with your Dr. before taking any meds as some risks, to some, may outweigh the benefits.
I hope you're feeling better. Please let us know how you're doing. We care . . . hugs
