do you ever miss a dose by mistake? I get so OC or so paranoid and anxious if I miss a day. But my doctor said no big deal..but I still get so crazy in the head if I miss a day..

Anyone on cymbalta?
I also accidentally took 2 before and I had crazy nightmares..is that normal?

I don't take pills like that and that is one of the reasons.

I am not on cymbalta but I am on another ssri and I have missed doses as well, which caused anxiety in itself. I would trust the Dr in this case, although I know its tough to get out of that cycle of worry.

An SSRI in its use shouldn't stop working instantly like that. If for no other reason than the following: It did not instantly start easing your symptoms the first day you take it it shouldnt instantly stop working if you miss a dose. It builds up in your system.

When I missed a dose, I always wondered what would happen two or three weeks down the road. Alas, nothing did.

I would say, if you miss a bunch in a row then you probably will start feeling kind of rough due to the missing of doses.
