My doctor has put me on the anti depressant Citalopram and tranquilizer called Lorazepam.

Any one else take these for anxiety?

Welcome Bex, I was prescribed Celexa (Citalopram) and Ativan (Lorazepam) together. We're all different so how one person reacts to this combination may differ from the next.

Celexa did not work for me as it caused headaches but the Ativan worked well taken at the onset of panic. We then tried Zoloft and Klonopin together. This worked much better for me. Soon I was able to discontinue Zoloft and use Klonopin very rarely. It usually takes a few tries to find the combination that works well for you.
