So it's week three on Zoloft 50mg.Doing very well up until yesterday/today. A bit jittery and my heart rate is up around 108 - 115. I also feel the common chest pains associated with my panic attacks. Hopefully it's just not feeling well and not the Zoloft not working. Also had a headache almost all day yesterday, was wondering if it is safe to take Advil while on Zoloft? I read many places you can't take most pain/fever reducers.

Call the pharmacist (or ask them in person) about advil and zoloft but I bet it's okay.

My doctor finally convinced me to take Advil, lie down in the dark and quiet for 20 minutes and see if my symptoms passed. If they did not, then call. If they did, then chalk it up to Anxiety.

WHen I finally listened to him and began doing this it was AMAZING!

I've never heard of any prohibition against taking Advil or like pain relievers while on SSRIs (I do it all the time). That said, it is always wise to check with someone who knows this stuff (e.g., doctor or pharmacist).
