Zoloft 13 Years ago
Is anyone on Zoloft? I'm just curious as to what dose you find works for you? I am just going up another 25 mg and experiencing nasty side effects again. I know they are short lived so maybe I should just bear with it.

What dose are you currently at? I was on 100mg for about 8 years. It seemed to do good at that dose. The side effects suck, but definitely wait it out. Good luck.

I was on it for 5 years at 200mg (but was for depression). Now it's hard enough to work myself up to 75 mg!! I'm at 50 mg at the moment.

FYI: According to my husband's counselor, Celexa or Lexapro has fewer side effects than Zoloft.

Re:Zoloft 12 Years, 11 Months ago
I am at the point where I am ready to get off Zoloft. I constantly crave sweet, sugary food and have gained about 15 pounds since I started taking it. I do feel somewhat better..still have my days of course, but lately have been doing quite well. I've been alternating decreasing my dose so it will go out of my body more smoothly (hoping anyway). I'm going to try to cope without medication. Maybe it's a bad idea but I really don't like the side effects of anti-depressants. Not just the weight gain, but the numbing of feelings and I just feel like a different person.
