How long have you been taking it? This happened to me the first 2 weeks, but wore off after that. I just took it at night and it helped immensely!

I got the same deal when I was on it, and did the same thing as Ashley and took it at night for best effects. How are you doing on it now?

I took my first dose of Lexapro this morning and didnt have a very good day at all . It started about 1 hour after taking it I got very hot and then very cold, I was very fatigued early but later in the afternoon I got very agitated and hyperactive and ended up having an episode. Had the shakes, my eyes were very dilated and I was so close to going to the ER. Had the same thing happen with BuSpar.

Re:LEXAPRO and sleep 13 Years, 2 Months ago
I was afraid of switching to Lexapro after the bad side effects from the Celexa, but Im a week into it now, and I feel 3000 times better. Im not having the insomnia, panic, anxiety, depression, and wonky eating anymore. Its so great, dont be afraid to give it a try. Everybody is different, so the swap might be just what you need. Dont be afraid to tell your doctor everything as it happens either, after two weeks of the celexa, the docs didnt feel it was necessary to try the full 4-6 weeks for results, not when the side effects were just making everything worse. Im glad Im persistant, its saved my job and my sanity!
