Well this will be my 3rd update since my original post.
Today I went to my new part time job to fill out some paper work that I thought would only take a few minutes. I took a nap before I went to make sure I was well rested and in hopes that it will help keep me calm.
Well what I thought would only take a few minutes turned into 2 and a half hours. UGHHHH. I Mean it wasnt so bad. I did have some slight anxiety and my hands were shaky and my head, I noticed that my breathing was very short and fast. That didnt help! Well just before leaving I had to enter my info into a computer, and that would have been ok, but my new boss was right next to me and that made me more anxious. All I kept thinking was, God please don't let her notice or say something about my shakyness. She didnt thank GOD!
So it wasnt so bad. Now im just worried about how I will do when I do start training because I was just told today that I will not be at the store near my house but rather another store about 10 minutes away. Sucks but I guess I have to do what I have to do.

... I'm so proud of you. You did great, Mel! No matter how long it took or how much anxiety you were experiencing you courageously continued on. If you completed your paperwork and computer input with your supervisor right next to you, I'm sure you'll do well. Thanks for updating us and good luck with your new job :) . . . hugs |

... It sounds like you did GREAT...congratulations!! If you can sit and enter information into a computer with a supervisor looking over your shoulder...you're good to go with anything else they throw at you during training!! RL |
