Sometimes we ask ourselves why us? Sometimes we ask ourselves we do not deserve this and that. Many questions that lead us to negative answers such as FAILURE.
My dance with panic has has made me a better person. First few months has always been a down for me (no ups, always down). Why? That I don't know, little information I guess. I only know of a word "FAILURE". Too bad.
I'm glad that everything has ended and these I told myself about "FAILURE".
1.) Failure doesn't mean I'm a failure. It does mean I haven't yet succeeded.
2.) Failure doesn't mean I have accomplished nothing. It does mean I have learned something.
3.) Failure doesn't mean I have been a fool. It does mean I had enough faith to experiment.
4.) Failure doesn't mean I've been disgraced. It does mean I dared to try.
5.) Failure doesn't mean I don't have it. It does mean I have to do something in a different way.
6.) Failure doesn't mean I am inferior. It does mean I am not perfect.
7.) Failure doesn't mean I've wasted my life. It does mean I have an excuse to start over again.
8.) Failure doesn't mean I should give up. It does mean I should try harder.
9.) Failure doesn't mean Ill never make it. It does mean I need more patience.
10.) Failure doesn't mean you have abandoned me. It does mean you must have a better idea.
Come to think of it. Take it one day at a time. We do not need a whacking, what we need is PATIENCE.
Cheers.

Uplifting Wise, helpful words, Randall. I truly needed to read that and feel much better after doing so. Thank you for that. I hope to become much stronger and insightful as you have when it comes to panic attacks. |

... Thanks Randall. Although I have chosen to take medications in addition to therapy for my depression & anxiety, this list will help me a lot. I am going to print out a few copies and post them in different areas of my house as well as keep on in my purse. All My Best, Norell |
