Well today was a good day. Had one guy still out with the flu so I had to drive and take several deliveries today. Drove about 30 blocks north of the store 3 or 4 times today and took several deliveries south of the store too but they are stores I'm used to going to so those weren't bad. Didn't have any problems with any of the trips today which was a shock. I did take my nebulizer with me on the trips north of the store even though I had my inhaler with me cause I would constantly feel like it was tough to breathe when I left so I carried it with me just in case although I never had to use it I was just hyperventilating. The day was just great even though I had to drive most of the day. Then I came home and did the good fiancee duty..I cleaned the windows of her car inside and out. Of course now I'm hoping I didn't get the flu from driving today seeing as the truck I was driving is the one that the guy who is out drives all the time so I hope I didn't get it by being in the truck...I'm a bit of a hypochondriac so that doesn't help especially considering I have a little bit of a cough and a headache tonight. However I'm actually handling it well without having a whole lot of anxiety about it. So today was good and at least a partial step in the right direction.

... Good and it's nice to have a nice day. Cherish it. You won't get the flu by driving the sick man's truck. Those germs are long dead before you got into it. As far as a headache and cough goes, so do I along with tons of others. It's sort of a nagging feeling of being slightly everything. Runny nose, cough, headache, getting tired more easily. There's something going around but it's not devastating. Hang in there and I hope you have a good day tomorrow as well....Ed |

... Wow, it sounds like more than a good day to me. It sounds like a great day!! You deserve a huge pat on the back and congratulations from all of us. I don't think it is the dreaded "flu". Everyone I talk to here in San Antonio feels the same way. I just took tylenol and actifed myself to try get rid of my cough and headache. If you get fever and/or chills, you might want to have it checked out. Seems like everyone in the US is feeling the same headache, sniffles and sore throat. Congratulations on your achievements today. |

... And even if it were the flu...what would you do about it? You can go to the doctor and get treated. They have said multiple times on the news, net, papers, etc. that the swine flu, seasonal flu, is realtively mild. The media is scaring people more then it is helping. Don't worry you will be fine. I was obsessed about this for a few weeks because I am pregnant and in the "high risk" category, but, I just take it one day at a time. |
