I use a service dog and am happy to talk to anyone about the process, picking a dog, finding a trainer, owner trained vs an organization, whatever I can do to help.
If I can't exactly answer your question or steer you in the right direction then I will trying and link you to appropriate material.
I'm not an expert, but I've been through it.

I've hear about this... does it really work well for you? How does the dog get trained? What sort of dog.. etc? Any information would be great, thanks for sharing.

Faith I would also be in contact with Aimmy on this site. She's logged in every day. She and her husband have the above type of dog. Take care...Ed
