I just read the November issue of Oprah's "O" magazine and there is a terrific article in there by Dr. Oz about healthy aging.

The usual stuff about eating and exercise, of course, were in it. But the thing that amazed me -- and the reason I recommend everyone read it -- is that there is a 2 week guide for healthy living and on just about EVERY single day there is something to help de-stress!

In other words, this doctor is convinced that Stress, Anxiety (and Panic) are destructive in and of themselves to our health!! And it is very important to become more self-aware. To recognize the symptoms. And, to learn how to relieve this Stress and Anxiety.

So much of the article is about the kinds of things we talk about here at PS, but it was a wonderful thing to read about them in this mainstream mag!

I am going to follow the 2 week guide - for a bit of a jumpstart and a tune up.

If you get a chance to read it, please do! It's the one where Oprah is wearing a gold, sparkly dress on the cover! November 2007!

I pretty much belive everything Dr. Oz has to say. He seems like he really knows what he is talking about!! I try to watch him eveytime he is on Oprah. He brings out the containers of brains and lungs and stuff. Very interesting!!!
