I really didnt know where to post this but here it goes I have been suffering from agoraphobia with panic attacks for about 6 years now 4 of those years I have been housebound. I have the worst panic attacks to the point where I call the ambulance and everytime they would come out my blood pressure and pulse would be sky high I'm talkin like 160/100 to 150/110 and pulse like 140 to 170 now I know this is not good for anyone but I do know that this is a response of my body because I'm freaking out. My resting blood pressure at complete rest has been 116/70 the lowest recorded of mine taken by a nurse at the ER. My question is can short term spikes this high for an half hour or so cause significant damage to arteries or stroke ? Im really freaking out!
