Finally got up enough nerve to make an appointment with my doctor and let it all out and try to get some help with my SA and PA. (outside of self-help books and forums).

I actually printed out the social anxiety article link. Sometimes things on paper will be more clear to doctors instead of just describing the problem.

Gettin nervous, but hopefully this will be one of the last times I get anxiety or panic about going anywhere!!

I wish you well with your Drs. appt. Good for you that you've taken this huge step in getting treatment. Be patient with your therapy. It doesn't go away, we learn to cope with our disorders. Learn as much as you can and use those tools to help you get through as comfortably as you can. Medications may also help as a treatment plan.
