Career is something that should be given a priority but should not come in the way of Health as health should always be given a high priority. Anxiety initially starts with stress, too much tension & worry. One should get into the habit of eliminating these or else it is the root of any health problem. Prevention is always better than cure.

My story

I have suffered for more then 30 years. I am on line searching for helpful resources and like minded people to share and grow with.

I believe that if we each lend a hand and help one another, open up and share our lives we can all learn from the collective experience. I have suffered with anxiety disorders since I was a little boy. I still don't know where they stemmed from however, I am slowly learning that I do have control over them and I can learn the skills to help me get through the rough patches. I recently took an amazing online course that really helped me a lot. I travel a lot for work so I am very much alone most of the time. I live in hotels and go from city to city. The internet has become my way of keeping in touch. It's a tough life to live sometimes, but I love what I do and I am very good at it professionally. As I get older I am beginning to think about parking it some where for good and finding a new career that would allow me to have relationships and be more stable. So that alone creates a lot of panic and anxiety in my life. I don't want to give up my job or the money especially in this day and time. But in the long run, it might make me happier.

Feel free to say hello anytime.

I remember reading your post to Sunbaked about why another site was needed. I remember thinking, "Gosh, this guy's brave," cuz I'd never had the guts to do something like that. I read Sunbaked's reply and that's when I decided to join Panic Survivor back in 2005. I decided the website and you guys were "the real thing". Glad I wasn't mistaken. Thank you for sharing your story, remo. From one ex-workaholic to another. - 4Him

I hadn\'t read this in a long time remo, and boy has the time gone by since we first met. I am truly grateful for you each and everyday of my life and though we haven\'t met in person (and I do hope we do that someday) I feel like I know you better than some people I have known my whole life.

Your update and 5 BIG peices of advice are prophetic, and I agree whole heartedly with each of them, I too try to apply those very philosophies in my own journey of survival.

God Bless you remo, God bless all that you do for this site. - sunbaked
