This hit me too Kellybeth.
Until our clocks changed to British Summertime it was dark at 4.30, the curtains were closed and the fire lit. It was cosy and warm. Now it is light until 8.00pm. At first I was pleased as the nights drew out. Now I miss my snug den and resent the daylight. It does feel scary.
Perhaps a full camping trip is too much in one go. How about some picnics first? relearn how to enjoy being outdoors.
I'm sure you'll be fine with whatever you decide to do. Good luck
