Well my boyfriend and I are coming to the end of our lease in our apartment, and we're in dissagreement. He just got a new job, an awesome job that will pay more and have way better benefits. I couldn't be more happy and proud of him. But our disagreement has to do with what we're gonna do after our lease is up, in November. This new job of his is on the far west side, almost in our neighboring city, and my job is, not too far east, but on the east side of the city. We share one car. Our hours are going to be the same! Which means that we must either A) get another car B) one of us takes a leave of absence C) move back with his mom to save money D) move to another apartment and beg my family to give me rides to work. What to do? Oh, and I forgot to mention, I HATE THE WEST SIDE OF TOWN! I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I describe those car trips when you leave your "comfort zone" and all you want to do is go back, just go back. My boyfriend wants to live on the west side, since his job is closer and it would be easier for him. I don't know how to even begin to confront this situation. He knows my PD very well and has seen me at my worst and he knows that I don't want to live on the west side. How do I confront something he already knows? Ultimately I think we're gonna move back in with his mom for a few months to save up money (who by the way is in the west side too). But what happens after that? I don't want to live on the west side. It's too far from everything and everyone I would find comforting! I hate having to spend long trips in the car, it drives me crazy! I have a tendency to speed b/c I want to get to where I'm going as quickly as possible. My PA's always act up when I know I have a car ride coming up, not to mention a long one. Ugh, I'll have to finish this up later, I've got to go make dinner.
Sorry it was so short, Talk to everyone soon!
