The Straw that broke the camel's back......

Well.....yesterday I went to my eye doctor appointment and my husband was watching Ashley.  I got a call at the doctor's from paramedics that I needed to come home to get my daughter as they were taking my husband to the hospital.  So I did and he went......he was basically told he has fatigue and to follow up with his doctor regarding his calcium and phosphate levels being off a bit.  Basically he is not handling things well and it keeps getting worse.

So tomorrow I am taking my daughter to PA.  She'll be staying with my mom either at my aunts house or my siste's house.  I plan to visit once a month until our house here in CA sells....hopefully very quickly.

It's all happening so fast but I I felt I had to do this and everything will work out for the best.  I know she will be in good hands and have a blast with all the relatives.  My husband is taking it pretty hard but he told me I should do it before I booked the flights.  WOW...booking that flight was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life.  BIG SIGH!!!!

After I get her situated I return here Thursday and start getting things ready to move and to sell the house.  It will be alot easier with my daughter in PA...that's one positive.  She's absolutely bouncing off the walls with excitement and wants to leave ASAP.  Of course she doesn't grasp the reality of what is happening...but it probably won't faze her too much in all actuality.

It's really interesting how life works. For a long time I know you have been "trying to figure out" what to do.

The hardest thing to do is believe that WHEN it's right to do something you'll know.

I think that must be what is happening now. You KNOW what to do next. Is it easy? No! Is it sad? You bet! But you KNOW what to do.

This is one of those experiences that will have profound, positive effects in your life for years to come.

Because, whenever you are confused or uncertain, you will KNOW (from your own experience) that it is okay to wait and take care of yourself. Because when it is time for you take action you will KNOW it! And you will be able to do it!

Good luck with getting Ashley situated - and you're right, she will be fine. Totally fine! So go with that as a GOOD thing, instead of using it against yourself!

Many hugs!
