... Hello :) Welcome You don't say what your doctor recommended for the costochondritis, if anything. As you only saw him yesterday, it is quite possible that you will have no more symptoms once this condition resolves. Again, now you know that there has been a physical reason that your body has been reacting to, there is also no reason to fear that you are going to die or that there is anything else wrong with you. I think that you can reasonably relax and stop worrying. Panic/anxiety attacks are triggered by our fight and flight mechanisms, and fed by fear. They can become a learned behaviour, so that you go into an attack before you realise what's happening. It sounds unlikely that you will have any more, but there is lots of information on here that can help if you do. Good luck. Hope the ribs mend soon :) |
