5/27/08 I believe I am beating the panic attacks and believe I should share my knowledge with others stricken with this stress disease. I also believe this documentation will be good for me. Let me know if anyone is reading this and finds it encouraging.
I am really great at discipline and forcing myself to workout, but I believe I have to apply this same mentality to doing the things to alleviate my anxiety, which is the problem that is plaguing me most as of late I realize that I need to talk to people. When this happens, I appreciate life more and panic less. When I am reclusive, i have too much time to think and that is when all sorts of worry fills the space. Also, talking to others helps me gel my thoughts, whereas quite time just keeps fleeting thoughts jumping in and out of my head. I have to force myself to talk to others like I force myself to workout.
I also realize that love and faith are the two key things needed for me turn things around.
I have much more to share but I believe this will be it for now. Again, let me know if anyone is out there.
