Ringworm?
(Monday, 18 February 2008) Written by Kellybeth

I have this small weird spot on the back of my leg. I have convinced myself that I have ringworm. I broke the Google rule and looked it up.

I got a new cat a few weeks ago. She has a small spot on her foot that I think is ringworm and I think I got it from her. So now I have decided that it is going to spread all over my body. I also have decided it is going to spread to all my other animals. I go to the vet tomorrow. But I’m sure this is what it is. Now I feel all worried and itchy. Hmm. I knew that there was a reason not to Google stuff.  Silly.

"Google" is our worst enemy!! My cat had worms this summer and I was convinced I had them too!!! I was also convinced that I would go blind from the worms if they laid eggs in my body!!!! Of course I never had worms or was going blind. I made several doctor appointments and eye doctor appointments. I am trying so hard not to google anything again!! (especially my medication)!!

:sigh Google :sigh

I'm sure you will be fine and so will your animals. Puss has probably got a little thorn in her foot, or something.

I've had ringworms lots! Living in Florida it is just one of those things that happens - especially to kids, and especially with pets.

It's not fatal!! No matter what freakin' Google has to say!!!

:)

Even if it is ringworm you'll be fine - so will your kitty!!

Hugs,
